General rules
- Every student who joins the institute must intend to benefit themselves and others.
- Each student receives a Student Number and must use it when attending lessons.
- Students have three days off between two examinations, except in approved special circumstances such as travel or illness.
- Three consecutive absences may result in suspension. Failure to respond to the teacher may be recorded as an absence.
- A student who registers for a lesson and withdraws without an approved reason may not be allowed to register for another lesson.
- Illness leave requires a doctor’s certificate.
- Travel that coincides with an examination requires evidence.
- The death of a relative permits three days of leave.
Zoom class system
- Students must follow the Zoom class system and contact administration or the committee when help is needed.
- The source wording about lesson questions requires clarification before publication.
- Teachers should not be distracted from the subject being taught.
- Important written questions or submissions should go through administration for forwarding to Dr. Sh. Cusmaan Macalim.
- Students must remain muted during lessons, raise their hand, and wait to be invited to speak.
- Zoom-class complaints must be submitted through the administration or committee process.
Purpose: to support one another in confirming knowledge and acting upon it. Attendance is obligatory, knowledge is light, and cooperation is success.
